This thesis was written by Irvan Aldyan Putra, Student ID 2130104033, with the title "The Teaching of Procedure English Text to the Tenth Grade Students at MAN 2 Tanah Datar." This thesis was written as one of the requirements to obtain a Bachelor of Education (S.Pd.) degree in the English Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Mahmud Yunus State Islamic University, Batusangkar. The background of this research departs from the phenomenon of English teaching in grade X of MAN 2 Tanah Datar, specifically on procedural text material, which shows a difference between the lesson plan that has been prepared by the teacher and the conditions of learning implementation in the classroom from the perceptions of teachers and students. Some students experience difficulties in understanding the structure and purpose of procedural English texts, which impacts low motivation and learning comprehension. Therefore, this research focuses on the analysis of teaching procedural English texts with three sub-focuses of research: lesson planning, learning implementation, and learning assessment. The purpose of this research is to describe the planning, implementation, and assessment of English learning procedural text material in grade X of MAN 2 Tanah Datar. This study employed a qualitative approach with a phenomenological approach. The study was conducted at MAN 2 Tanah Datar. Data sources included primary and secondary sources, including English teacher, students, and teaching documents. Interviews and documentation were used as data collection techniques. The data analysis technique employed was Miles and Huberman's analysis, which involved data reduction, data display/presentation, and conclusion drawing. Triangulation of techniques and sources was employed to ensure data validity. The results showed that teachers had developed procedural English text lesson plans through the Independent Curriculum (RPP) based on Learning Outcomes and Learning Objectives, as well as relevant material relevant to students' lives. However, the attitude aspect had not been explicitly formulated. Teaching implementation generally proceeded according to plan, implementing the syntax of understanding, applying, and reflecting, and actively involving students through discussions and assignments. However, there were still constraints due to time constraints and differences in student abilities. Teaching assesment has been carried out through assesment of the teaching process and outcomes, and continued with remedial activities, however, the assessment instruments still need to be refined so that the assessment can be carried out in a more objective and structured manner

The problem in this study that it has not been revealed how the implementation of the independent learning curriculum by an English teacher in the planning stage, teaching stage, and evaluation processes at MIS Muhammadiyah Batu Taba. This study aims to find out how is the implementation of independent learning curriculum in planning stage in teaching English at MIS Muhammadiyah Batu Taba, to find out how is the implementation of independent learning curriculum in teaching stage in English at MIS Muhammadiyah Batu Taba, and to find out how is the implementation of independent learning curriculum in evaluation stage in teaching English at MIS Muhammadiyah Batu Taba. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study. The informant of this research is an English teacher who teaches at the fourth grade students of MIS Muhammadiyah Batu Taba in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research focuses to described the implementation of independent learning curriculum in planning stage in teaching English at MIS Muhammadiyah Batu Taba, to describe the implementation of independent learning curriculum in teaching stage in English at MIS Muhammadiyah Batu Taba, and to describe the implementation of independent learning curriculum in evaluation stage in teaching English at MIS Muhammadiyah Batu Taba.The data collection technique in this study used observation, interview, and documents analysis techniques and used other supporting tools such as; interview guideline, recorder and document. The data from observation, interview, and document analysis are used as triangulation. The researcher used the theory of Miles and Hubberman (1994), which includes data reduction, data presentation, data verification and conclusion drawing. The results showed that at the planning stage, teacher makes the flow of learning objectives and teaching module which are follow the structure set by the government and tailored to the conditions of students in the classroom. At the teaching stage have three activities, namely: opening activities, main activities, and closing activities. The teacher has implemented a genre-based approach in teaching English. In delivering material the teacher used several media such as videos, pictures, and games. In addition, the teacher also has been implements Pancasila student profile values in learning. The teacher has implemented differentiation learning based on the interests and skills of their students also students learning styles. The teacher conducts the assessment based on independent learning curriculum, namely by using written assessments and non-written assessment.

AZRI YENI, NIM. 1930103013 Judul Skripsi: “PELAKSANAAN EVENT GEBYAR DALAM MENARIK MINAT PESERTA DIDIK BARU DI SMPN 1 CANDUNG KABUPATEN AGAM”. Jurusan Manajemen Pendidikan Islam Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan, Universitas Islam Negeri Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar 2023. Pokok permasalahan dalam skripsi ini adalah pelaksanaan event gebyar dalam Menarik Minat Peserta Didik Baru di SMPN 1 Candung. Adapun sub dalam penelitian ini yaitu: Bagaimana Pelaksanaan Event Gebyar dalam Menarik Minat Peserta Didik Baru di SMPN 1 Candung, Apa saja Faktor Pendukung dan Faktor Penghambat Pelaksanaan Event Gebyar dalam Menarik Minat Peserta Didik Baru di SMPN 1 Candung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan pelaksanaan event gebyar dalam menarik minat peserta didik baru di SMPN 1 Candung Kabupaten Agam. Jenis penelitian yang penulis lakukan adalah penelitian metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengelolaan data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif, kemudian diuraikan berdasarkan permasalahan yang terjadi di lapangan. Sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, Waka Kesiswaan, Panitia Pelaksana Event Gebyar, Komite Sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, untuk melihat keabsahan datanya peneliti menggunakan triangulasi. Temuan hasil penelitian dapat dikemukakan yaitu pelaksanaan event gebyar dalam menarik minat peserta didik baru di SMPN 1 Candung Kabupaten Agam secara garis besar sudah terlaksana dengan baik, yaitu adanya kenaikan jumlah peserta didik dari tahun sebelumnya, dengan diadakannya event gebyar ini minat peserta didik meningkat untuk bersekolah di SMPN 1 Candung, terlaksananya acara ini tak lepas dari adanya faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat, dilihat dari faktor pendukungnya sendiri adanya komunikasi yang baik antara sekolah dengan alumni menjadi salah satu faktor pendukung dalam pelaksanaan event gebyar dalam menarik minat peserta didik baru di SMPN 1 Candung dan juga adanya sumbangan dari majelis guru yang mana kedua faktor tersebut memiliki peranan besar terhadap pelaksanaan event gebyar dalam menarik minat peserta didik baru di SMPN 1 Candung. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya itu sendiri faktor cuaca yang kurang kondusif dikarenakan ada beberapa perlombaan dilaksanakan di luar ruangan, tetapi hal itu tidaklah menjadi suatu masalah terhadap terlaksananya event gebyar di SMPN 1 Candung.
