Abstrak
Andre Putra, Student ID 2230308003. Thesis Title: "The Utilization of Tahsin Class YouTube Content in the Lives of Islamic Journalism Students". Department of Islamic Journalism, Faculty of Ushuluddin, Adab, and Dakwah, Universitas Islam Negeri Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar, 2026. This study examines the effectiveness of "Tahsin Class" YouTube content in helping Islamic Journalism students at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar learn to read the Quran independently. Using a qualitative method, this research investigates the material delivery process as well as the factors influencing the use of YouTube as a learning medium. The results show that Tahsin Class YouTube content is effective in improving students' understanding of tajwid, motivation, and independent learning habits due to its clear and accessible material. Learning is supported by flexible study time and engaging audiovisual presentations. However, challenges remain, such as internet quota limitations, distractions from other videos, and the lack of direct correction from a teacher. In conclusion, Tahsin Class YouTube content is highly useful as an independent learning tool, but face-to-face guidance is still required to achieve optimal improvements in students' Quranic recitation.
