Historical Dictionary of the Dirty Wars

The Historical Dictionary of the Dirty Wars coversthe period 1954–1990 in South America, when authoritarian regimes waged war on subversion, both real and imagined. The term “dirty war” (guerra sucia), though originally associated with the military dictatorship in Argentina from 1976 to 1983, has since been applied to neighboring dictatorships in Paraguay (1954–1989), Brazil (1964–1985), Bolivia (1971–1981), Uruguay (1973–1985), and Chile (1973–1990). Although the concept is by no means peculiar to Latin America—the term has become a byword for state-sponsored repression anywhere in the world—these regimes were among its most notorious practitioners. In the mid-1970s they joined forces—along with Ecuador and Peru—to create Operation Condor, a top-secret network of military dictatorships that kidnapped, tortured, and disappeared one another’s political opponents. Their death squads operated both nationally and internationally, sometimes beyond the region. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah perhitungan harga pokok produksi yang dilakukan oleh Usaha Kue Dapur Mas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung harga pokok produksi dengan menggunakan metode process costing method dan melihat dampak dari harga pokok produksi pada Usaha Kue Dapur Mas dengan menggunakan process costing method. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan jenis penelitian analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang penulis gunakan adalah melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pengolahan data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif, kemudian diuraikan serta melakukan klasifikasi terhadap aspek masalah tertentu dan memaparkan melalu kalimat yang efektif. Dari penelitian yang penulis lakukan dilapangan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perhitungan biaya yang kurang tepat pada Usaha Kue Dapur Mas, yaitu dalam pengklasifikasian biaya overhead pabrik. Hal ini menyebabkan perbedaan dalam perhitungan harga pokok produksi. Harga pokok produksi yang dihitung oleh Usaha Kue Dapur Mas adalah sebesar Rp 25.300/kg untuk kue karambia, sedangkan harga pokok produksi menurut process costing method untuk produk kue karambia adalah sebesar Rp 26.350/kg. Harga pokok untuk produk dakak-dakak oleh Usaha Kue Dapur Mas Rp 25.700/kg sedangkan berdasarkan perhitungan process costing method untuk produk dakak-dakak adalah Rp 26.700. Sehingga terdapat perbedaan dalam perhitungan harga pokok sebesar Rp.1.050/unit untuk kue karambia, dan untuk dakak-dakak Rp 1.000/kg.
