HUKUMAN KEBIRI KIMIA TERHADAP PELAKU PEDOFILIA DALAM PERSPEKTIF HAM DAN HUKUM ISLAM

Pokok permasalahan dalam skripsi ini adalah hukuman kebiri kimia terhadap pelaku pedofilia dalam perspektif Hak Asasi Manusia dan pandangan hukum Islam. Adapun yang menjadi sub fokus masalahnya adalah bagaimana pandangan hukum Islam terhadap perbuatan pedofilia dan apa saja sanksi terhadap pelaku pedofilia, bagaimana pandangan HAM dan hukum Islam terhadap hukuman kebiri kimia bagi pelaku pedofilia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan pandangan hukum Islam terhadap perbuatan pedofilia dan apa saja sanksinya, kemudian untuk menganalisis pandangan HAM dan hukum Islam terhadap hukuman kebiri kimia bagi pelaku pedofilia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian melalui studi kepustakaan (library research), yaitu penelitian terhadap data sekunder, yang bersifat deskriptif analisis dengan cara mengumpulkan data yang berkaitan dengan pedofilia dan kebiri kimia dari al-Quran dan Hadis, Undang-Undang, buku-buku Fiqh dan HAM serta jurnal ilmiah tentang pedofilia dan hukuman kebiri kimia. Pelanggaran HAM yang dilakukan oleh pelaku pedofilia kepada korban lebih berat dari pada hukuman kebiri kimia yang diberikan kepada pelaku pedofilia. Dilihat dari pihak korban dampak yang ditimbulkan lebih banyak, baik berupa dampak psikologis, mental, fisik, dan sosial dalam jangka waktu yang panjang. Sementara pelanggaram HAM yang terjadi pada pelaku pedofilia berupa menghilangkan syahwat dari suntik kebiri kimia hanya dalam kurun waktu tertentu (2 tahun) yang lebih ringan, maka hendaknya hukuman kebiri kimia kepada pelaku pedofilia dilakukan karena membahayakan agama, akal, jiwa dan keturunan bagi korban, yang akan berdampak buruk bagi perkembangan psikologi anak. Hukuman kebiri kimia terhadap pelaku pedofilia bertujuan memberi efek jera bagi pelaku, rasa aman, nyaman, dan tentram serta keadilan bagi masyarakat terutama bagi keluarga korban.

The Impact of SMART Board Technology on Growth in Mathematics Acheivement of Gifted Learners

This study examined whether SMART Board technology increased growth in mathematics performance of fourth grade gifted students. Gifted students in North Carolina were studied to determine if the use of SMART Board technology during mathematics instruction impacted their growth on standardized state tests. The sample consisted of 175 students from six elementary schools with similar populations. Three of the schools used SMART Boards during mathematics instruction, and three schools did not use SMART Board technology. All students were taught the mathematics curriculum according to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. The instrument for evaluating growth was the state End-of-Grade mathematics test. A formula developed by the state's Accountability Department was used to compare third grade mathematics results to fourth grade mathematics results to determine the degree of growth for each student. The results did not indicate significant growth among gifted students who received instruction using SMART Board technology. This study was limited by the small sample of gifted students who did not receive instruction with a SMART Board. Schools, in this district, matching the specific demographics of the sample are equipped with SMART Boards and utilize them during instruction. Due to this limitation, further research regarding the use of creative technologies to stimulate and challenge the brightest learners is warranted.
