An Analysis of Students' Perception toward Advantages and Disadvantages of Using Open Educational Resources in Writing Class

The problem studied in this study is the students' perceptions regarding the advantages and disadvantages of open educational resources in writing classes have not been revealed. This study aims to describe students' perceptions toward advaantages and disadvantages of using open educational resources in writing classes. This type of research is quantitative in the form of descriptive. The population in this study were students taking writing courses in 4th semester at State Islamic University Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. in the 2023/2024 academic year. The sample used in this study was 38 people who selected using the total sampling technique. The instrument used to obtain data from student perceptions was a questionnaire.The questionnaire distributed to the research samples. The answers from the sample entered into a tabulation table and the researcher calculated the frequency of the students' answer scores. Then the researcher conducted a descriptive analysis of the scores obtained from the questionnaire. Furthermore, the researcher categorized students' perceptions of the open educational resources learning model in the writing class. The results of the study showed that 63% of students had a positive perception, 37 % of students had a strongly positive perception, and 0% students got negative and strongly negative perception of open educational resources in the writing class.

SOURCES OF STUDENTS ENJOYMENT IN LISTENING CLASS (A Case Study of the First Semester English Department Students of UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar Registered in 2023/2024 Academic Year)

Morrin Mutia Florence, Reg No. 1830104037, entitled “SOURCES OF STUDENTS ENJOYMENT IN LISTENING CLASS (A Case Study of the First Semester English Department Students of UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar Registered in 2023/2024 Academic Year)”, Department of English Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, State Islamic University Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. This research was motivated by the fact that the source of student enjoyment in the listening class had not yet been revealed; therefore, the researcher attempted to find and describe the source of student enjoyment in the listening class. In this research, a quantitative approach was used using a descriptive quantitative design. The level of student enjoyment that was be seen is among the first-semester students from the Tadris English TA department in 2022-2023. In the research conducted, researcher took all research samples using total sampling techniques. The instrument is in the form of a questionnaire using Google Form, which is distributed directly to students using the Likert scale technique. The data was analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. The research results show that the source of student enjoyment is, on average 159.52 with the score 6700 . Confirm that the following scores refer to each indicator of the source of student enjoyment: The average intrinsic motivation indicator is 73.71 with respondents agree, and the percentage of this source is good. The indicator of positive experience in using language averaged 24.21, with respondents agree, and the percentage of this source was good. The indicator of a sense of meaning in learning averaged 61,60, with respondents agree, and the percentage from this source was good. Therefore, overall, the source of student enjoyment is self-motivation, motivation from others, and an environment that will make students enjoy learning English.

Sources of Students' Foreign Language Enjoyment in Learning English at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar

English Teaching Department, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, State Islamic University Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. The main problem in this research is that it has not been revealed the whole sources of students’ foreign language enjoyment in learning English at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. The purpose of this resarch was to find out the sources of students’ foreign language enjoyment in learning English, as well as to find out the most dominant and least dominant sources of students foreign language enjoyment in learning English at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. This research was descriptive quantitative method. The sample of the research was 50 students. They were selected by using simple random sampling Technique. In collecting the data, she distributed the questionnaire to research respondents. The questionnaire consisted of 56 items in order to know sources of students’ foreign language enjoyment in learning English. In analyzing the students’ questionnaire, she analyzed them by apply descriptive statistics suggested by Sugiyono (2007). Based on the data analyis, the researcher concluded that the sources of students foreign language enjoyment in learning English at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar were two: inside of the students themselves (internal) and outside of the students themselves (external). The internal sources were a feeling of confidence, a desire to learn, a sense of development, being able to overcome challenges, being able to self-regulate during the learning process, and using language that is far from the eyes of friends and teachers. The external one were teachers and peers.

ANALISIS PREDIKSI KEBANGKRUTAN DENGAN METODE ALTMAN Z-SCORE PADA PT PANASIA INDO RESOURCES Tbk

ATIKAH QISTHI, NIM.1530 1220 006 judul SKRIPSI “ANALISIS PREDIKSI KEBANGKRUTAN DENGAN METODE ALTMAN Z-SCORE PADA PT PANASIA INDO RESOURCES Tbk”. Jurusan Ekonomi Syariah Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Batusangkar. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah laba PT. Panasia Indo Resources Tbk dari tahun 2014 sampai tahun 2018 mengalami penurunan dan selalu rugi, jumlah utang yang meningkat pada tahun 2014-2017, penurunan penjualan pada tahun 2016-2018, penurunan ekuitas pada tahun 2014-2018 dan penurunan assets pada tahun 2015-2018. Penelitian ini bertujan untuk menganalisis prediksi kebangkrutan pada PT. Panasia Indo Resources Tbk dengan menggunakan metode Altman Z-Score. Jenis penelitian yang penulis gunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang berupa laporan keuangan PT. Panasia Indo Resources Tbk periode 2014-2018. Sumber data diperoleh dari situs resmi Bursa Efek Indonesia yaitu www.idx.co.id. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah model prediksi kebangkrutan Altman Z-Score yang ketiga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PT. Panasia Indo Resources Tbk merupakan perusahaan yang berada pada zona berbahaya atau berpotensi bangkrut. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari besarnya nilai Z-Score pada tahun 2014 diperoleh nilai Z-Score sebesar 0,0282, pada tahun 2015 diperoleh nilai Z-Score sebesar - 0,0076, pada tahun 2016 diperoleh nilai Z-Score sebesar 0,0383, pada tahun 2017 diperoleh nilai Z-Score sebesar - 0,4617 dan pada tahun 2018 diperoleh nilai Z-Score sebesar - 2,2301.
