Pengaruh Future Time Perspective Terhadap Kematangan Karir Pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Ushuluddin Adab dan Dakwah

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa dituntut untuk memiliki orientasi masa depan yang jelas serta kematangan karir agar mampu merencanakan, mengeksplorasi, dan mengambil keputusan karir secara tepat. Masa dewasa awal, khususnya pada masa perkuliahan, merupakan fase perkembangan yang ditandai dengan persiapan individu dalam menghadapi dunia kerja dan menentukan arah karir. Salah satu faktor psikologis yang diduga berperan dalam meningkatkan kematangan karir adalah future time perspective, yaitu kemampuan individu dalam memandang, merencanakan, dan menghubungkan aktivitas yang dilakukan saat ini dengan tujuan yang ingin dicapai di masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh future time perspective terhadap kematangan karir pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ushuluddin Adab dan Dakwah UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode regresi linear sederhana. Dalam penelitian ini jumlah populasi sebanyak 1.022 mahasiswa dengan jumlah sampel penelitian yang didapatkan sebanyak 92 mahasiswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa skala future time perspective yang disusun berdasarkan teori Husman dan Lens (1999) serta skala kematangan karir yang disusun berdasarkan teori Super (1990). Teknik analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan program IBM SPSS Statistics. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara future time perspective terhadap kematangan karir mahasiswa UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. Hasil analisis regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 0,894, nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,799, serta nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p 0,05). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa future time perspective memberikan kontribusi sebesar 79,9% terhadap kematangan karir mahasiswa, sedangkan 20,1% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian. Selain itu, hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa tingkat future time perspective dan kematangan karir mahasiswa Fakultas Ushuluddin Adab dan Dakwah UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar berada pada kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian, hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nol (H₀) ditolak

AN EVALUATION THE STRUCTURE OF ENGLISH BOOKS TRANSLATED INTO INDONESIAN BY STUDENTS FROM STRUCTURE PERSPECTIVE

English Teaching Department, Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty, State Islamic University (UIN) Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. The problem of this research is that the structure of the student's translated book is not in accordance with the standard book structure in general in Indonesia according to experts. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the results of the sixth semester students' translation books in the Translation for Specific Purposes subject at the English Department at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar in the 2022/2023 academic year. The kind of this research is qualitative research by using content analysis. The data of this research are aspects of book structure that books translated has by each group of students in the Translation for Specific Purposes subject of English Teaching department at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar in the 2022/2023 academic year. The theory used to evaluate the translated books by students is the general book structure theory according to Suwarno (2011). The instrument of this research is the researcher herself. Data analysis was carried out with the steps of coding the data, evaluating the data, interpreting the data, and making conclusions. The results showed that among the seven books evaluated, none of the translated books reached the good category in accordance with Suwarno's theory of book structure. Books that have a fair category are the first book (B.1), the third book (B.3) with a percentage result of 62.5% and the fourth book (B.4), the sixth book (B.6) with a result percentage of 58,3%. For books with sufficient categories are three books, namely the second book (B.2) with a percentage result of 45.8%, the seventh book (B.7) with a percentage result of 41.6% and the fifth book (B.5) has a percentage result of 33.3%.
