Buku Filsafat bahasa terdiri atas delapan bab. Bab 1 membicarakan sejarah filsafat, pengenalan, gambaran sejarah, kategorinya. Bab 2 membahasa pengertian filsafat. Bab 3 menguraikan hubungan filsafat dan bahasa, object filsafat bahasa, essensi bahasa ditinjau dari segi filsafat, peran filsafat bahasa dalam pengembangan ilmu bahasa. Bab 4 memafarkan hubungan bahasa dengan metafisika, hakikat bahasa, aliran aliran metafisika. Bab 5 hubungan bahasa dengan epistimologi, perkembangan bahasa, serta ragam bahasa. Bab 6 hubungan bahasa dengan filsafat dengan logika, pengertian ilmu, pengertian ilmu filsafat, tujuan filsafat ilmu, dan manfaat filsafat ilmu. Bab 7 l memaparkan ruanglingkup bahasa filsafat. KEPEMIMPINAN DAN ETOS KERJA DI LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN ISLAM Konsep dan Implementasi

Ini adalah buku perdana yang bisa penulis persembahkan kepada segenap pembaca. Buku mengenai kepemimpinan dan etos kerja di lembaga pendidikan tentu sudah banyak ditelurkan oleh para penulis. Namun, hadirnya buku ini paling tidak menjadi pelengkap buku-buku yang sudah ada. Setidaknya ada beberapa pembeda dari buku ini dengan buku-buku lainnya yang setema. Karena berangkat dari perbedaan itu buku ini akhirnya rampung ditulis dan sampai di tangan pembaca.

Buku Psikologi Agama Suatu Pengantar yang ditulis oleh Dr. Yusron Masduki, S. Ag., M. Pd.I dan Dr. Idi Warsah, M. Pd.I ini mencoba memberikan secercah harapan dalam mempelajari betapa pentingnya mendalami psikologi dari sudut agama Islam. Buku yang dipaparkan dalam buku ini akan mengetengahkan tentang Pengertian Psikologi Agama. Pengertian Psikologi Agama menurut etimologi dan terminology, tujuan Psikologi Agama, Ruang Lingkup Psikologi Agama, Manfaat mempelajari Psikologi Agama, sejauhmana seseorang percaya akan Kitab Suci, hubungan manusia dengan agama: Pengertian Agama, Hubungan antara Manusia dan Agama, Agama sebagai Fitrah, Agama sebagai Amanah dari Allah SWT; Potensi manusia dalamperspektif Islam, gejala-gejala sumber jiwa keagamaan pada manusia; faktor-faktor sosial dalam agama: Faktor Internal, dan Eksternal; perkembangan agama pada anak; perkembangan agama pada remaja; karakteristik perkembangan orang dewasa dan lansia problematika keimanan manusia dan kriteria orang yang matang beragama, problematika keimanan dalam rentang kehidupan manusia, kriteria orang yang matang beragama; konvensi agama dan psikoterapi. Dengan demikian, buku ini layak untuk dijadikan referensi guna meningkatkan kualitas dan memahami dan mengamalkan agama Islam.

<em>The research discusses about the design of electronic module assembly and installating computer. The module was designed for assembling and installating computer content displayed in digital way, so this modul is very flexible and easy to be used. The content was displayed by video to make it easier to understand by the learners. The method used consists of several phases; analysis, design, coding and testing. The design used UML process and then was developed by Kvisoft Flip book maker. The result of this research shows how the assembly and installation module was easier to be used for the teacher and the students.</em>

OBSTACLES ENCOUNTERED WHILE INTEGRATING LITERATURE IN TEACHING ENGLISH

<em><em>This article depicts problems faced by High School teachers while using literature in teaching English. The data related to their broad views of using literature in the classroom were obtained from semi structured questionnaires as the preliminary data distributed to English teachers in Tanah Datar regency. As the result, by using purposive sampling technique ten of the teachers were selected to be the informants of the research. Then, in-depth interviews were conducted to the informants in order to find the obstacles encountered while integrating literature in their teaching of English. As the result, most of the informants found that using literature is interesting, however it is relatively disadvantageous because of several burdens, such as 1) Its difficult language, in terms of its complexity, its structure, vocabulary, poetic and unfamiliar diction, 2) inappropriacy with the students’ level, 3) not suitable with the topics, 4) time management, 5) students’ lack of pronunciation, 6) unavailable supporting tools, 7) limited resources, 8) students’ unconfidence, and 9) unattractive poem materials.</em></em>

PENGEMBANGAN ALAT PRAKTIKUM GERAK JATUH BEBAS MENGGUNAKAN SENSOR PHOTOTRANSISTOR UNTUK PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA PADA MATERI GERAK JATUH BEBAS

<p>This study aims to produce free fall practicum tools by utilizing phototransistor sensors to record the travel time of objects that fall from the starting point to the end point. Dealing with free falling equipment (GJB), equipment in schools is generally still very simple that is using a stopwatch. This type of research is a research and development using 4-d model (define, design, develop and disseminate), which is limited to the stage of development to practicalization activities. Data were collected through validation and responses toward  administered questionnaires.  Data analysis were conducted by analyzing validation sheet and quantitative response questionnaire by finding percentage of each item on the validation sheet. Then the data validation results are analyzed by descriptive technique to describe the quality of the developed product. The result of calibration of free fall practicum by using phototransistor sensor at 40 cm, 50 cm, and 70 cm distance obtained the average travel time of each object is 0.28 s, 0.32 s, and 0.37 s. These results indicate that the practicum tool has been calibrated. Validation of practicum tool is 72,39% and validation of questionnaire response of practican is 75%, indicating tool categorized valid. Furthermore, this tool is tested in class X.MIA and XI.MIA MAN 3 Payakumbuh which consisted 23 students in the science laboratory of MAN 3 Payakumbuh with the questionnaire response practicality are 87.75% and 84.41% respectively which are categorized very practical.</p>

PENGGUNAAN COMPUTED RADIOGRAPHY UNTUK IDENTIFIKASI MADU LEBAH

<p>Research on identification of honey bee using Computed Radiography has been done. The testing was carried out by providing digital radiograph of the three types of honey bee. The voltage of the x-ray generator was varied at 50 kV, 60 kV and 70 kV, while filament current was set at 100 mA and exposure time was at 5 ms. Honey bee was identified based on the image line profile that indicated the distribution of linear absorption coefficient (µ) for each sample. The analyses on the image line profile showed that at the voltage of 50 kV and 70 kV the three kinds of the honey bee can be distinguished. However, at the voltage of 60 kV the difference among honey bee was unable to be identified.</p>

ANALISIS DAYA TAHAN MAHASISWA DALAM MELANJUTKAN STUDI DENGAN CHI-SQUARED AUTOMATATIC INTERACTION DETECTION

<p>This research studies the stuctural interaction between variables that become characteristics or factors affecting durability for students to continue their studies. In this study, the data used are the characteristics of students in the form of data counting and categories so that statistical methods used was CHAID analysis. Dendogram CHAID showed that the variables having strongest association with the durability for students to continue their studies is the mark of Calculus I subject. CHAID method to the analysis of durability for students to continue their studies produced three segments. The first segment is the students who retook the Calculus I subject, the second one is the students who passed or failed in Calculus I subject with semester 1 GPA &lt; 3.00 and the last is the students who passed or failed in Calculus I subject with semester 1 GPA &gt; 3.00<em>. </em></p><em>Key words: Chi-Squared Automatatic Interaction Detection Analysis (Chaid), Student</em>

PERMASALAHAN GURU BAHASA INGGRIS DALAM MENGIMPLEMENTASIKAN KURIKULUM 2013 DI SLTA KABUPATEN TANAH DATAR

<div><p><em>The research is conducted based on the fact that Senior high school English teachers of Tanah Datar Regency face problems in implementing curiculum 2013.The research is aimed at finding out the problems of the teachers related to the implementation of the Curriculum. Therefore, a qualitative research method was applied. To collect the data of the research, interview technique was used. To analyze the colled data, interactive model of analysis as proposed by Miles and Huberman was used. The results of the research show that there were two types of the problems that the teachers faced in implementing the new Curriculum, those deriving from the teachers themsevels, and those deriving from others, like government, students and facilities. </em></p>Kata kunci: permasalahan, guru, bahasa Inggris, implementasi, kurikulum 2013</div>
