Thesis Title: The Influence of Group Counseling Using the Solution Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC) Approach on the Improvement of Resilience among Twelfth Grade Students at SMAN 1 Rambatan. Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, State Islamic University Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. The problem addressed in this thesis is the low level of resilience among twelfth grade students at SMAN 1 Rambatan. This study aims to examine the influence of group counseling using the Solution Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC) approach on the improvement of students’ resilience. This research employed a quantitative method with a pre-experimental design of one group pre-test and post- test. Data were collected using a resilience scale developed based on resilience aspects. The population of this study consisted of 32 students from class XII F1, with a sample of 10 students. Data analysis was carried out using a t-test with the assistance of SPSS version 22. The initial condition of students’ resilience was categorized as low. Based on the resilience scale results, 22 students were in the medium to high category, while 10 students were in the low category. From these categories, the researcher selected 10 students with low resilience as the sample. This was done to create group dynamics so that the goals of group counseling with the SFBC approach could be achieved in improving students’ resilience. The results showed a calculated t-value of 22.44 with df = 9. Referring to the t-table at the 5% significance level, the critical t-value with df = 9 is 2.262. By comparing the obtained t-value (to = 22.44) with the critical t-value (tt = 2.262), it was found that to > tt. Thus, H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. This indicates that group counseling using the SFBC approach has a significant effect on students’ resilience at SMAN 1 Rambatan. The implementation of group counseling with the SFBC approach resulted in an improvement, with students who were initially in the low resilience category progressing to the high resilience category. Therefore, it can be concluded that group counseling using the Solution Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC) approach has a positive and significant influence on enhancing students’ resilience.
