ABSTRAK Fany Yuli Kartika 1930109018 Pengaruh Metode Al-Jawarih Terhadap Kemampuan Menghafal Surah-Surah Pendek Pilihan Anak Kelas B2 di TK Rahmatul Aisy Sungai Nanam, Program Studi Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar 2023. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya perkembangan kemampuan anak dalam menghafal surah-surah pendek pilihan. Hal ini terlihat ketika anak diberi tes hafalan namun masih dijumpai anak-anak yang tidak serius dalam kegiatan menghafal. Hal ini juga disebabkan karena metode yang digunakan sebelumnya belum dapat membuat anak tertarik untuk menghafal. Akibatnya, tiga tahun terakhir ini tidak ada anak yang dapat memenuhi target pencapain hafalan yang ditetapkan sekolah. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode Al-Jawarih yang bertujuan untuk mempengaruhi kemampuan menghafal surah-surah pendek pilihan anak kelas B2 di TK Rahmatul Aisy Sungai Nanam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen, desain penelitian pre-eksperimental dengan tipe one group pretest-postest design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak di TK Rahmatul Aisy dengan jumlah 82 orang di 3 kelas. Sampel penelitiannya adalah kelompok B2 berjumlah 14 orang anak yang di ambil secara random. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah dengan menggunakan metode Al-Jawarih dalam mempengaruhi kemampuan menghafal surah-surah pendek pilihan. Sebelum diberikan treatment, anak diberikan pretest. Adapun rata-rata hasil pretest adalah 19. Setelah pretest, baru dilanjutkan dengan penerapan metode Al-Jawarih. Peningkatan anak terlihat dari hasil posttest dengan rata-rata 28. Untuk menguji signifikansi t0 dengan cara membandingkan t0 (“t” hitung) dengan tt (“t” tabel), pada difference (df) derajat bebas (db) 10 pada taraf signifikansi 5% tt diperoleh sebesar 1,77 Kemudian dengan membandingkan dengan hasil dari t0 (“t” hitung ) dengan tt (“t” tabel) maka dapat diketahui bahwa t0 lebih besar dari tt, gambarannysa sebagai berikut: 3,60 > 1,77. Dengan demikian berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pretest dan postest pada kelompok sampel. Maka hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nihil (Ho) ditolak, artinya metode Al-Jawarih dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan menghafal surah-surah pendek pilihan. This study was motivated by the lack of development of children's ability to memorize selected short surahs. This can be seen when children are given a memorization test but there are still children who are not serious in memorization activities. This is also due to the method used previously that has not been able to make children interested in memorizing. As a result, in the last three years, no child has been able to meet the memorization target set by the school. The method used is the Al-Jawarih method which aims to influence the ability to memorize selected short surahs of class B2 children at Rahmatul Aisy Sungai Nanam Kindergarten. This study used a quantitative approach with experimental methods, pre-experimental research design with one group pretest-postest design type. The population of this study were all children at Rahmatul Aisy Kindergarten with a total of 82 people in 3 classes. The research sample was group B2 totaling 14 children who were taken randomly. The treatment given is to use the Al-Jawarih method in influencing the ability to memorize selected short surahs. Before being given treatment, children are given a pretest. The average pretest result was 19. After the pretest, the application of the Al-Jawarih method was continued. The child's improvement can be seen from the posttest results with an average of 28. To test the significance of t0 by comparing t0 ("t" count) with tt ("t" table), at difference (df) free degree (db) 10 at a significance level of 5% tt is obtained at 1.77 Then by comparing the results of t0 ("t" count) with tt ("t" table) it can be seen that t0 is greater than tt, the description is as follows: 3,60 > 1,77. Thus, it means that there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest in the sample group. So the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, meaning that the Al-Jawarih method can affect the ability to memorize selected short surahs.
