RAHMA AL AZYFAH, Reg.No. 1930104049, did a research entitled "STUDENTS` OPINIONS ON THE USE OF THE QUIZIZZ APPLICATION IN LEARNING ENGLISH AT JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL 2 BATUSANGKAR" English Teaching Department, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, State Islamic University (UIN) Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. The problem investigated in this study is that teachers use quizizz applications in English classes so that there are variations in students' opinions about the use of quizizz applications in English learning. This study aims to identify variations in student opinions on the use of quizizz applications in junior high school (SMP) students in English language learning. This research uses quantitative methods with survey design. The population of this study were 94 students of SMPN 2 Batusangkar. By using proportional random sampling technique so that 75 respondents were selected as research samples. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire about students' opinions on the use of the quizizz application in learning at SMP Negeri 2 Batusangkar. The questionnaire was validated first using the trial method on 19 samples. The results of the trial were 41 valid items. Furthermore, reliability is carried out with the results of 0.951 which means excellent reliability. The results showed that there were positive student opinions on the use of the quizizz application for the application usage aspect with a percentage of 85.5%, the creative learning aspect with a percentage of 82.0%, improving students' skills in English learning with a percentage of 81.3%, improving student understanding with a percentage of 83.6%, building good character with a percentage of 81.1%, engagement with a percentage of 82.4% and concentration with a percentage of 82.0%. In addition, students' negative opinions on the use of quizizz applications for network connection aspects with a percentage of 35.5% and time limits with a percentage of 49.1%.
