MATLAB (Matrix Laboratory) adalah sebuah program untuk analisis dan komputasi numeric, merupakan suatu bahasa pemrograman matematika lanjutan yang dibentuk dengan dasar pemikiran menggunakan sifat dan bentuk matriks. Anthropology, Space, and Geographic Information Systems

Major advances in the use of geographic information systems have been made in both anthropology and archaeology. Yet there are few published discussions of these new applications and their use in solving complex problems. This book explores these techniques, showing how they have been successfully deployed to pursue research previously considered too difficult--or impossible--to undertake. Among the projects described here are studies of land degradation in the Peruvian Amazon, settlement patterns in the Pacific northwest, ethnic distribution within the Los Angeles garment industry, and prehistoric sociopolitical development among the Anasazi. Following an introduction that discusses the theory of geographic information systems in relation to anthropological inquiry, the book is divided into sections demonstrating actual applications in cultural anthropology, archaeology, paleoanthropology, and physical anthropology. International Review of Experimental Pathology, Volume 30, is organized around the theme of renal disease. The choice of renal disease reflects both the author’s personal interest and the realization that there is a need for such a collection of reviews in this area. There are many new books on renal pathology, but almost all have a clinical rather than experimental orientation. The book opens with a chapter on the pathogenesis of experimentally induced renal papillary necrosis and upper urothelial carcinoma. Subsequent chapters deal with the use of cell cultures in the study of renal diseases; mechanisms of cyclosporine nephrotoxicity in humans and animal systems; spontaneously occurring renal diseases in laboratory animals; and the use of video microscopy to define the reactivity of the renal microvasculature and the hydraulic permeability of the glomerular capillaries. Fatwa is believed to be a container having an important and significant role in the religious life of the Islamic community. The urgency and significance can be seen from its function as a mediating between the ideals of Islamic law on the one hand with the factual reality-communities on the other. This is where all the problems, concerns, hopes, aspirations and experiences presented and confronted people to look for common ground with the ideals of moral and religious ethics in Shari'ah mediated by the intellectual prowess of a mufti. One of the institutions that are semi-formal fatwa is the fatwa issued by the Fatwa Commission of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), because these institutions are formally established by the government, but its provisions can not be forced as the decision of the judiciary. Since its establishment in 1975 MUI fatwa has been issued either at the request of individuals, community groups and at the request of the government. This simple article will try to look at and examine some of the MUI fatwa has been issued, to then be viewed and analyzed, especially in terms of legal istinbat method used in formulating his fatwa.
