Ein praktischer Leitfaden zu dem Thema: Wie handhabe ich das Statistik-Programm SAS Dieses Fachbuch richtet sich in erster Linie an die Studenten/Doktoranden medizinischer oder verwandter Studiengänge, die eine experimentelle, empirische Arbeit durchführen möchten. Auch für den interessierten Praktiker ist das Skript gleichermaßen zweckmäßig. Die Ausführung der grundlegenden statistischen Verfahren erfolgt anhand der Statistik-Software SAS® – ein Programm, das weltweit fachgebietsübergreifend in vielen Forschungseinrichtungen und Industriezweigen zu verschiedenen Zwecken, insbesondere aber der Datenanalyse, eingesetzt wird. Sämtliche Ausführungen sind mit der SAS®-Version 9.1 durchgeführt und getestet. Der Aufbau ist modular: Zunächst wird eine statistische Methode allgemein eingeführt, anschließend an einem Datenbeispiel die manuelle Berechnung demonstriert. Schließlich wird die in diesem Zusammenhang relevante SAS®-Prozedur dargestellt und das konkrete Beispiel mit SAS® berechnet. Die Analogie zwischen manuellem Rechenergebnis und dem SAS®-Ergebnis wird beschrieben. Das Buch beinhaltet eine ausführliche Darstellung statistischer Methoden, so dass es ohne zusätzliche Lektüre eines Standardlehrwerkes der Statistik verständlich ist.

Hal ini penting disampaikan karena sampai dengan saat ini pemeriksaan laboratorium masih menjadi salah satu kendala dalam penatalaksanaan kasus dan pengendalian KLB difteri, khususnya di Indonesia.
