ANXIETY SYMPTOMS FACED BY STUDENTS AND ITS CAUSES ON ORAL PERFORMANCE (A Study of the English Subject at SMAN 13 Sijunjung)
The problem in this study is that the symptoms and causes of anxiety experienced by the students of SMAN 13 Sijunjung have not been revealed in oral performance of the English subjects. The purpose of this study was to describe the symptoms and causes of anxiety faced by the students of SMAN 13 Sijunjung have not been revealed in oral performance in English subjects. This type of research is descriptive-qualitative. The key instrument in this study is the researcher herself. The informants were 9 students of SMAN 13 Sijunjung who took English subjects who were selected using the purposive sampling technique. The results show that first, symptoms of anxiety in students that appeared during oral performance in English Subject seen from the physical (body), behavior, and cognitive. The last for causes of anxiety there are three causes of anxiety, namely Communication Apprehension (CA), test anxiety and fear of negative evaluations.
