Abstrak
Consists of research that investigates the spatial distribution, species composition, species numbers, species diversity, size class distribution, diurnal versus nocturnal movement and abiotic factors influencing the use of the fishway. Results shows the spatial distribution of fish species in the river before the construction of the Kanniedood dam, and points out the negative effects which the dam had on fish distribution, disappearance, and migration.
