Abstrak
This fascinating, well-researched book is an excellent resource for Christian parents and educators. The book covers the pagan origins of some of our most celebrated days and the historic background of others. Included are ten governmentally recognized holidays as well as twelve non-official days (such as Valentine's Day). A balance of patriotic, historic, and biblically base d research appeals to evangelical, fundamental, and dispensational-oriented Bible believers. The author looks objectively at the chosen holidays, presents historically and biblically accurate information, yet leaves the reader to his own conscience in regard to celebrations.
