SALMA RABANI, Reg. No 2230104059, thesis entitled: DEVELOPING Interactive Learning Media Using Articulate Storyline in Teaching narrative Text” English Teaching department Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, State Islamic University (UIN) Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. The research addressed a practical gap in English language teaching at MTsN 6 Tanah Datar. Although technological facilities such as computers and projectors were available, they had not been optimally utilized to support narrative text instruction. Consequently, students experienced difficulties in understanding narrative textswswa and an Articulate Storyline-based interactive learning medium had not yet been developed to address these instructional needs. Previous studies have mainly focused on investigating the effectiveness of Articulate Storyline, whereas limited attention has been given to developing interactive learning media based on students' learning needs within the specific context of MTsN 6 Tanah Datar. Therefore, this study aimed to identify students' learning needs, develop an interactive learning medium using Articulate Storyline, and determine the validity of the developed product through expert judgment. This study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, limited to the Analysis, Design, and Development stages. Qualitative data were collected through interviews with the English teacher to identify students' learning needs, while quantitative data were obtained through validation questionnaires completed by one material expert and one media expert. The qualitative data were analyzed descriptively, whereas the quantitative data were analyzed using percentage calculations to determine the validity of the developed product. The findings revealed that the developed interactive learning media integrated learning materials, images, audio narration, instructional videos, interactive exercises, quizzes, educational games, and immediate feedback into a structured learning environment that addressed students' learning needs. The product was published in HTML5 format, enabling it to be accessed through computers and smartphones. Based on expert judgment, the material validation obtained a score of 95%, while the media validation achieved 84%, indicating that the developed product was categorized as valid and appropriate for use in teaching narrative text to Grade VIII students. Therefore, the developed of interactive learning media using articulate storyline in teaching narrative text can be used as an alternative digital learning medium to support more interactive, engaging, and meaningful English language learning
