Thesis title: The Effect of Group Counseling Services Using the Zikir Technique to Overcome Bullying Behavior Among Eighth Grade Students at SMP Negeri 2 Bukit Sundi. Islamic Education Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Postgraduate Program, Mahmud Yunus State Islamic University (UIN) Batusangkar. The main issue in this thesis is the high rate of student bullying behavior, characterized by the large number of students who are unable to control themselves, resulting in verbal, physical, relational, and cyber bullying. These behaviors include teasing, insulting, hitting, extorting, ostracizing, slandering, spreading embarrassing photos, and terrorizing victims through social media, which negatively impacts the comfort and well-being of students at school. The purpose of this discussion is to examine the effect of group counseling using the zikir technique to overcome bullying behavior among eighth-grade students at SMPN 2 Bukit Sundi. The type of research used by the researcher is quantitative research with a Qansi-experimental design, one-group pre-test and post-test, where an experimental group is measured for dependent variables, then given treatment, and measured again. The population in this study was all 70 eighth-grade students at SMP N 2 Bukit Sundi. The sample in this study consisted of 11 students selected using random sampling, which is a method of selecting samples randomly based on the results of the pre-test of the Bullying Behavior Scale. From the research conducted by the researcher, the results of the experimental group's bullying behavior scale during the pre-test were obtained with a total score of 1,924 with an average score of 174.9 in the High category. After being given treatment, the post-test score of the experimental group with a total score of 1,134 and an average score of 103.09, this value decreased and was in the Low category. The results of the hypothesis test indicate that group counseling with the dhikr technique is effective in overcoming the attitudes of bullying perpetrators in students.
