Abstrak
Hativa Gustina, Student ID 2130402038, Thesis Title: “The Effect of Land Area, Labor, and Seeds on the Production Level of Gambier Farmers in Nagari Pangkalan Koto Baru, Lima Puluh Kota Regency.” Undergraduate Thesis, Department of Sharia Economics, Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, State Islamic University Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. The problem addressed in this study stems from fluctuations in the production level of gambier farmers in Nagari Pangkalan Koto Baru that do not align with theoretical expectations, where decreases in land area and total seeds in certain years were followed by increases in production. This phenomenon suggests the presence of other factors influencing production outcomes, particularly land area, the number of laborers, and seed usage. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of land area, labor, and seeds on the production level of gambier farmers in Nagari Pangkalan Koto Baru, Lima Puluh Kota Regency, both partially and simultaneously. The research employs a quantitative method with an associative approach. The population comprises all gambier farmers in Pangkalan Koto Baru District, with a sample of 89 respondents selected using proportional random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination. The results show that land area and labor have a positive and significant effect on the production level of gambier farmers when examined partially, while seeds do not have a significant effect. Simultaneously, land area, labor, and seeds have a positive and significant effect on production level. The coefficient of determination indicates that variations in production level can be explained by the three independent variables, while the remaining variation is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study.
