Abstrak
Abstract Online learning activities carried out indirectly and requires appropriate media so that learning can take place. The problem of this research was there is no adequate information about students’ perception on online learning in English for Tourism subject. his type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population were third semester students of the English Teaching Department, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, IAIN Batusangkar academic year 2020/2021 by involving three validators to validate the instrument. There resullt was 0,67 (high validity) that considered to have adequate content validity. The sample of this research was 70 students using total sampling technique. he research instrument was a closed questionnaire consisted of 56 statements. Then to analyze the data, the researchers interpreted the data used Djemaris. The results of the study described that students' perceptions on online learning in English for Tourism subject were positive (71,43%). It means that students’ perception while studying at home were good, and online learning was quite helpful in learning during the online learning process.
