Student's Willingness To Communicate In EFL Classroom (A Library Research Of Articales Published In Indonesia Journal)
This research is motivated by various studies conducted by many researchers on students' desire to communicate in English in language classes. The research was conducted using both quantitative and qualitative methods. This study aims to systematically describe and analyze the factors that influence students' willingness to use English in language classes through a meta-analysis of articles published in the last ten years. This study is a qualitative library research study. Data were obtained from seven relevant articles published between 2015 and 2025. The data analysis technique used a descriptive approach, categorizing the types of problems identified in the articles. The results indicate several reasons experienced by students for wanting to use English, which are classified into two factors: internal and external. Internal factors include anxiety, self-confidence, vocabulary comprehension, grammar, and language fluency, while external factors include the role of teachers, peers, and learning methods. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that a person's willingness to use English is complex and influenced by both linguistic and non-linguistic factors. Therefore, appropriate learning strategies are needed to address these issues.
