The pearl millet open-pollinated variety ICTP 8203 is high grain yield, large seed size, early maturity, medium height, resistant to downy mildew, yields well under termiinal drought. That's recommended for Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra (India); released in India as MP 124 (ICTP 8203). The production media is 2.13 t/ha and time to 50% flowering is 54 days.

Flourishing Children
This volume presents the results of the Flourishing Children Project. The study addressed gaps in the research on indicators of positive development of adolescents. Such indicators are essential for the balanced and scientifically sound study of adolescents. Yet measures of many aspects of flourishing are not available, and when they do exist, they are rarely measured in a developmentally appropriate manner for adolescents. In addition, they are often too long for program evaluations and surveys, have not been tested on diverse populations, nor carefully validated as predictors of positive outcomes. The Flourishing Children Project undertook the development of scales for adolescents ages 12-17 for 19 aspects of flourishing covering six domains: flourishing in school and work, personal flourishing, flourishing in relationships, relationship skills, helping others to flourish, and environmental stewardship. This volume describes the four-stage process of developing the scales, including: Reviewing the literature for extant measures for items to test and synthesizing the existing research into consensus definitions for each construct; conducting cognitive testing of items with adolescents and their parents; pilot testing the items; and conducting psychometric analyses.

An Analysis and Comparison of Two Essential Oils Extraction Methodologies for Lemongrass (Cymbopogon Citratus (DC.) Stapf)
Lemongrass from te species of citratus have been used in this research in order to anaylze and compare two extraction methodolgy for extracting essential oils from lemongrass. The two methods involved were steam distillation and maceration extraction. Control methods involved were steam distillation and maceration extraction. Control method for this research was steam distillation. There are three types of essential oils were produced by these two methods, which produced from air dried lemongrass leaves, direct heating lemongrass by using drying oven with temperature of 60c and essential oils from fresh lemongrass leaves.

ANALISIS SUBSTANSI PENDIDIKAN MULTIKULTURAL SAINS PADA BUKU TEKS IPA SMP/MTs KURIKULUM 2013
Nurhajah Sintia, NIM. 13 106 050, Judul skripsi:“ANALISIS SUBSTANSI PENDIDIKAN MULTIKULTURAL SAINS PADA BUKU TEKS IPA SMP/MTs KURIKULUM 2013.”Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan Jurusan Tadris Biologi Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Batusangkar 2017. Rendahnya kualitas pendidikan sains selama ini di Indonesia dapat diduga karena kurang diperhatikannya lingkungan sosial budaya siswa.Buku teks merupakan sarana dan media efektif untuk memasukkan substansi pendidikaan multikultural sains, oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis buku teks IPA SMP/MTs kurikulum2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian bersifat kepustakaan (Library Research), pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan telaah dokumen yaitu buku teks siswa IPA SMP/MTs kurikulum 2013. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis isi (Content analiysis).Pengecekan keabsahan temuan dilakukan dengan cara teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku teks IPA SMP/MTs kurikulum 2013 yang dikeluarkan oleh Kementrian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan telah memuat substansi pendidikan multikultural sains, pada buku teks topik pengklasifikasian makhluk hidup memuat substansi pendidikan multikultural lebih banyak dibanding topik lainnya, secara keseluruhan uraian mengenai substansi pendidikan multikultural sains berupa pengetahuan tentang alam (79%), pandangan budaya/kehidupan sosial (5%), teknologi (16%) dan mitos /legenda (0%) kemudian uraian dalam buku teks tidak terlepas dari latar belakang budaya penulis buku teks. Ilustrasi yang menggambarkan (Indegenous Knowledge) IK beriringan dengan pernyataan yang menyertainya umumnya adalah yang menggambarkan manusia, hewan, tumbuhan, peralatan, gunung, tradisi khas Indonesia.
