This paper introduces Auslander-Reiten Sequences in mod A, where A is a finite dimensional -algebra. We will also introduces almost split morphism, as a special form of morphisms, which will provide a natural way to present the form of Auslander-Reiten sequences. These sequences are particulary useful in representation theory of algebras.

Key words: almost split morphisms, , irreducible morphisms, almost split sequences

This research studied about the the respondents characteristic at the legislative general pre-election in 2009. The researcher used statistic analysis to see the association and structural connection between variables as the characteristic of voters’ behavior. The data used in this study is gotten from the result of a survey on voters’ behavior in the form of counting and category data, that’s why the statistic methods used was CHAID. Analysis of CHAID showed that the variables having the strongest association with the party choice is age. CHAID method at the analysis of respondent characteristics of voters in the election resulted in five segments of the party choice of respondents. In each segment, the old party is still the party that is trusted by respondents to represent their voice in parliament.

Key words: voting behavior, interaction, chi-square, CHAID method

This study aimed to examine the magnetic properties of sediments from Teluk Katurai Siberut island Mentawai islands. The study on sediment samples from Teluk Katurai had been carried out by using three methods, i.e., measurements of AMS (Anisotropy of Magnetic Susceptibility) to determine the anisotropy shape of magnetic susceptibility, IRM (Isothermal Remanent Magnetization) to identify the their magnetic minerals contains based on the saturation curve, and AAS (Anisotropy of Anhysteretic Susceptibility) that produce anhisteritik susceptibility. From the stereonet plot and other anisotropy parameters were obtained that ellipsoid susceptibility form is oblate. It was also obtained that the type of magnetic mineral is magnetite based on magnetic saturation curves. Meanwhile the identification of grain size distribution was obtained by plotting the value of AMS versus AAS. The plots showed the magnetic grains of sediment was approximately 0.2 µm to 0.1µm.
Key words: magnetic susceptibility, anisotropy, anhisteritic susceptibility

The dependent variable was GPA that reflects the students’ learning outcome. The GPA data were categorized into “fail” (GPA<2.75), and “successful” (GPA≥2.75) that analyzed by using logistic regression and loglinear model. The respondents of this research were 339 students from Math, Physic and Biology Departmen who registered in 2008 - 2010 academic year. The logistic regression analysis showed that there were 3 factors that influence the students’ learning outcome significantly; their village, UN mean score and major in high school. The data analysis indicated that the students graduated from Islamic High School had a bigger chance to succes than students from Vocational School. UN mean score also can reflect the academic ability of the student significantly and the approriate major in high school (Science Studies) gave contribution to the students’ comprehension. By using loglinear analysis, it is gotten that association effect/ interaction between dependent variable and other variables as controller.

Fun “In Store” For Students is a resource and activity book to help teachers and/or facilitators develop, operate, and/or justify a school store while achieving common core and other academic standards. There are many activities, resources, lessons, assessments, evaluations, and reproducible pages. This book is centered on a school store but it can be used for other school-based businesses. Section 1 contains assembly plans for a mobile school store. Section 2 lists the Wisconsin academic performance standards, and content standards that can be achieved by operating a school store, depending on your scope and goals. These examples may be used as a template for meeting standards in your state. Section 3 is a suggested sequence for developing and operating a school store. During the ‘developing and operating’ process, ideas and examples are given to integrate some of the activities and processes into your classroom. Section 4 has you start thinking about forming business and education partnerships. Section 5 is the financial literacy section. This section is a useful tool because it opens student’s eyes to authentic hands-on learning that connects school work with career work/awareness, and the math associated with real-life living. Section 6 contains the appendices where you find most of your resources, supplemental material, lesson plans, activities, assessments, evaluations, and reproducible pages to be used by the students and facilitators of the school store. Section 7 contains additional resources to investigate. The developmental and operational processes for your school store may vary from school to school depending on your school’s size, your goals, and your objectives for running a store. Some sample goals or objectives include: meeting academic standards, having a continuous fundraiser, developing employability, job-seeking, and consumer math skills, integrating school and work-based learning, expanding awareness of careers including entrepreneurship, and developing partnerships with businesses and the community.
