The main problem in this study is the low social morals of some students, which is shown by the behavior of not respecting teachers, not caring about friends, not being responsible for family, and not applying mutual respect in daily life. This study aims to determine the influence of group guidance services on the social morals of grade VII students in MTsN 1 Tanah Datar. This study is a quantitative research with an experimental method using One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research population was all grade VII students at MTsN 1 Tanah Datar, while the research sample amounted to 10 students who were selected using the purposive sampling technique, namely students who had relatively lower social morals scores based on the results of the pretest. The research instrument used a social morality questionnaire with a Likert scale that had met the validity and reliability tests. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics, normality test, paired sample t-test, and N-Gain analysis to determine the level of treatment effectiveness. The results of the study showed that group guidance services had a significant effect on improving students' social morals. This is evidenced by an increase in the average social morality score from 118.3 during the pretest to 176.6 during the posttest. The results of the paired sample t-test showed that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected, so that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores after being provided with group guidance services. In addition, the results of the N-Gain analysis obtained an average score of 0.7606 which is included in the high category, thus showing that group guidance services have a high level of effectiveness in improving students' social morals. Thus, it can be concluded that group guidance services have a significant effect on improving the social morals of grade VII students at MTsN 1 Tanah Datar.
