Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah belum terungkapnya pelaksanaan manajemen sarana dan prasarana di MTs Muhammadiyah Lima Kaum Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan manajemen sarana dan prasarana di MTs Muhammadiyah Lima Kaum Kabupaten Tanah Datar dilihat dari fungsi perencanaan, fungsi pengadaaan, fungsi penginventarisasian, fungsi penggunaan atau pemanfaatan, fungsi pemeliharaan, dan fungsi penghapusan.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara. Objek penelitian ini yaitu hasil wawancara dengan kepala madrasah MTs Muhammdiyah Lima Kaum Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Dalam menganalisis data, peneliti menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif dari Miles dan Huberman yaitu dengan beberapa langkah, diantaranya pertama, reduksi data dengan cara mengambil informasi-informasi yang dibutuhkan saja. Kedua, penyajian data dengan cara memasukkan informasi-informasi inti ke dalam tabel. Ketiga, penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi data dengan cara memberikan kesimpulan dari hasil analisis data sebelumnya.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan manajemen sarana dan prasarana di MTs Muhammadiyah mulai dari pelaksanaan perencanaan, pengadaan, penginventarisasian, pemanfaatan, pemeliharaan, dan penghapusan telah dilaksanakan dengan sebaik mungkin oleh kepala sekolah MTs Muhammadiyah Lima Kaum Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Karena keterbatasan dana dan hal lainnya, maka pelaksanaan manajemen sarana dan prasarana belum bisa dijalankan seluruhnya. Namun, fungsi-fungsi manajemen sarana dan prasarana telah berjalan dengan baik di madrasah tersebut.

Based on some linguists’ research there are several factors that might cause the death of the language. They are: natural disaster, war and ethnic clearance, epidemic sickness, hegemony of a foreign language, inferior of language sense, migration, political decision, and intercultural marriage problem. In this article the writer would like to anlayze each point of the factors above. The conclusion is a language is like other human life; born, live, develop, lying up and death. The facts showed that many of the tests were created based on the teacher’s needs, not yet based on the goal of the test itself. As we know, there are kinds of approach to create a good test to test language ability; speaking, reading, writing and listening. One of them is a sociolinguistics approach. This approach is introduced to make the students aware of the test. To apply this approach, teacher must prepare a well-designed worksheet for the students. The worksheet must be written completely related to the sociolinguistics approach.
